    Silver What???

I once saw an ad for a clothing store that was having a sale on dress shirts. The ad very clearly stated "sleeves included".

Finally! Named and Registered Rabbitry with ARBA!

You don't have to, it's an option that ARBA provides. For a fee. Anyone can still call their rabbitry anything they want to.

    Do they work ?

I've used them and really gave them a chance. However, I find that they are fragile and leaky. Much more water is lost from these during the act of drinking than with the ball waterers I use. I actually don't buy water bottles anymore, I just buy the spout kits and reuse pop bottles; anything...

    Slant boards??

Sorry, should've mentioned my cages are all on one level. Don't really have any space restrictions at my place.

    Slant boards??

I prefer straight up gravity to an inclined plane. Everything drops right down to the ground. I compost right under the rabbit cages and periodically do a complete clean out and transfer to the main compost location and mix it in.

So then, who has commercial meat rabbits?

Who sells blue Silver Fox for over $75? That sounds crazy, or maybe I'm just out of the loop. If it is the case, then I'm sitting on a small fortune!

    Favorite breed poll!

    Silver Fox.

    Morels

It's plenty of exercise, that's for sure.

    Morels

They pretty much can't be cultivated, and only fruit for a short period of time, hence the high prices. Just happened to glance at the dried mushrooms sold at the grocery store here last night. 1/2 ounce of dried morels costs ten bucks. I'd rather hunt my own. But I realize I am in a better...

    Morels

Finally, I found the first morels of the year. We have almost four hundred acres, so choosing a spot to start looking is difficult. I've been skunked all week, and I only found two today, but it's a start. Just two, but they are nice big white ones. Anyone else have any luck?

Difference in cooking wild vs. domestic rabbit

To me, the biggest difference is that I won't have to spit out shot with a domestic breed. ;)

    Telling kits apart

Why do you need to until they are weaned? I mean, other than wanting to.

    2 free rabbits. SUPRIZE!!

Yeah, it's one of the La Mancha rabbits.

    Our pasture pen

It's a rabbit tractor, pretty cool. Put a couple handles on it and some wheels on one end and one person could move it around.

A Speech Every American High School Principal Should Give.

Frosted- The difference is that if I cite Jonathan Swift in a paper, no one will think twice about it. If I cite this guy, the response would be,"Never heard of him." I'm just real leery of this kind of thing that circulates on the internet and in emails, they are written to sound as if they are...

A Speech Every American High School Principal Should Give.

I think everyone agrees that it should be given. But a byline is not a citation. For me to believe this actually happened I would need more info like name of school, city, school district, when, etc...

A Speech Every American High School Principal Should Give.

This "speech" has a very artificial feel to it. I don't believe it was ever given; let alone to public school students. Sure, the ideals are something we wish would get said, but I don't believe that any American school principal would ever say them and expect to keep his job. This needs citations.

    is this a good opportunity?

When I decided to raise rabbits I chose Silver Fox after doing alot of research and discussing it with a breeder. I don't regret my choice at all.

    Sigh. Really?

Michigan's Dog Law is very specific when it comes to harassing and killing livestock. If you catch the dog doing it, you can shoot it on site with no legal repercussions. The dogs owner is responsible for not only the value of the livestock killed, but also any investment you made in said...

'Bout to put in my first equipment order...

I'd have to agree about the Bass bottoms, they're a little flimsy. I'll replace mine eventually.
