you only sell your rabbits for $5 each? how can you afford to do that? rabbit feed is expensive.
Move your feed bowls up off the floor. Even putting them up on a brick or piece of wood helps (if you place them so they can't knock them off). I've learned with my meat rabbits to only give them what they will clean up in one feeding or they make a mess. Giving them more later in the day (again enough for only one feeding) keeps them from making a mess.
If you get J-feeders you can place them fairly high and that helps to prevent them scrabbling out extra feed and also discourages the using it as a litter. I use those metal water bowls as feeders for adults. They keep them VERY clean.
My J-feeder supplier provides j-feeders with built in drainage. NOT screens, but metal sheeting with holes in the bottom. They stay extremely clean regardless of what bunnies are using them. Never have wet area, dusty areas, or mould build up spots. I DO NOT like screening on jfeeders as they just rust.
