There may be an obvious answer to this question, but I'm confused. I have been giving our meat rabbits small chunks of wood to gnaw on. It's just chunks my husband lops off of logs from our wood pile. He tells me it's pine. Not sure what type of pine, just "pine". Is this safe for the rabbits? If not, any other suggestions for what to give them, specifically here in Ohio where we still have some time before things start growing again? I have a couple of girls who love to chew and I need to keep them from chewing other things in their cages! Thank you!

You can read otherwise on the internet, but I've never had problems with giving our rabbits pine shavings, or pine or spruce wood, including the bark.
