Depends on what you have to do to make a sale. Think of how much time you spent advertising, waiting to meet the buyer, making the transaction, etc. I would discount up to what your time is worth. I've even given away a rabbit when they bought 2.
My latest kits when they escape the cages can be found on top of the stairs. Don't know if they just like the height or if it's just easier for them to climb instead of hopping down. My rabbits in multi-level cages often rest on the top self.
I have French Angoras, Dutch, Mini-lops, and mostly Lionheads. They certainly make mountains of fertilizer.
I've only been to the rabbit exhibits at the Montgomery County Fairs.
I keep some in the basement. I keep the window open even in winter. Also they can kick poop and spray urine pretty far and high out of the cages. The plus side is that it's very convenient to access and play with the babies.
Some times biters grow out of it. I have a doe that is mature and I was ready to kill it because she bites. I didn't get around to it because I wanted to do it when she had her winter coat. When I was ready to kill it it didn't bite any more. Don't know if she mellowed in her old age or if...
I feed mostly pellets and not much hay. My rabbits will eat pellets out of my hand but not hay. However I currently have 2 litters about a month old and they seem to like hay over pellets. They go for hay even when there's pellets available. Could it be because I introduced them to hay as...
I like to use multi-tier ferret or cat cage. Only problem if they spray you'll need a way to protect area outside the cage. My rabbits like to rest on the top tier.
Hi. Are you living on campus? One of my French Angoras became a support bunny. The student had to get special permission to have a support rabbit in university housing. Angoras are high maintenance but are really lay back and docile.
I don't have experience with French Lop but Mini-Lop have...
I prefer to have litters in pet cages indoors. Don't let the cat in the room with the cage because cats can smell new born and can reach inside the cage. Trust your doe to know what to do.
BTW since it's a new rabbit you should go easy on introducing new foods by doing it one at a time and just a little at a time. Rabbits can easily get upset stomachs resulting in GI statis. Check for changes in their poop for signs of stomach problems.
IMHO all grasses are OK. It's just some may be better than others. If you're collecting from the river bank, you can harvest the tallest ones for effecientcy.
Lawn mowings are not recommended because it starts composting quickly specially if you're bagging. However if you cut some grasses...
Some times it may be better just to return the rabbit even without a refund. Another rabbit such as your other 2 would be a better fit.
BTW does your vet specialize in rabbits?
At her age now it would be very easy to sex her. A male would have easily visible rabbit testicles. You can google "what do normal rabbit testicles look like" for pictures.
