1 - I think she will be just fine.
2 - I'd wait to breed any of my does till 6 months old personally, I have dutch.
3 - I'd use him! Or atleast try!
4 - He's definitely way too young to be fertile in my opinion.

I'm going to definitely work on conditioning her coat, she needs it lol! She's not pedigreed, I only paid $15 for her lol! She was a good buy I say!
This is Clover, she's an 8 month old New Zealand Red doe, her coat is out of condition at the moment, but how does she look? I'm clueless to New Zealands.
I'm not a rabbit noob, just a New Zealand noob.
I have never had any issues interbreeding, infact, I know several breeders who breed japs to mags & don't have any issues, I think it's all personal preference.
I find it intensifies the colors of my mags, it could be coincedence I suppose.
I have talked to a couple of breeders lately who like using mismarks, a lady I have on facebook really likes using them, she said she finds they produce better colored magpies. I have a mismark jap doe from a good friend of mine, and she produces nicely. I have no issues with using them, I know...
There is indeed magpie breeding in the background of these guys. I like using mismarks for breeding, they make nice brood does and your correct, pet people love them.
Ladysown - Do you mean for meat? If so, that is most certainly not happening. I cannot send my little babies for meat, I love...
