Oh, cool pics of Queenpup! No, I sure didn't watch the judging, so it wasn't me. I was too busy walking around. I probably saw you guys, but of course, wouldn't have known it. Are you guys homeschoolers? We are. :)

On the neosporin, I have only read that the pain relief variety is the one to avoid for rabbits.

__________ Tue Dec 18, 2012 4:08 pm __________

Sinnfox, I hadn't heard that about neosporin having an adverse affect on dogs and cats. I probably have used it once or twice on my dogs, I'm sure of it. I'll keep that in mind for next time. When one of our dogs needed a "sporin" product before, he prescribed polysporin. I wonder what the difference is?

I just cleaned the glands on Whipples "NZ" doe recently, be prepared for stench, what comes from those glands will make you gag. I recommend moistening the glands a bit before cleaning them, I used wet tissues but if you moisten the crud it'll come off easier.

Thanks 3mina! YES definite stench factor when cleaning the glands--no doubt about it. I moistened my q-tips with warm water (wiped them off so as not to drip water into the glands, though). :)
