On another forum, T-shirts were pre-ordered (options for shirt color, size, short/long sleeve) and then the order was sent to the screen printer. Sometimes, when a few more t-shirts would get the next price break, the lady would go ahead and order a couple of extras and those would sell too.
She generally made up 2 orders per year, one in the spring and the other about this time of the year as so many wanted them for christmas presants, but only included children's sizes in the fall set
