Hmm. Entry fee..

The deadline for Convention is the 26th by email. I was going to take it past that, but if someone else is doing the posting of pictures, it would be better, in order to give them time to arrange everything, so the same deadline as Convention is best.

There will be a pet class (that can be mutt class) or meat class (which can also be meat class).

I updated the OP with this information:

***Please include three photos of each entry: Profile, top view, and rear view***
***Do not include your RT Username on your entry form to ensure privacy. Winners can announce their identity at the end of the show.***

Thanks for the update. My machine is unstuck :)

I was thinking, that we should not post ear tattoo numbers, just pictures, because some of us could tell the Rabbitry by the tatts. Not sure if that's going too far but might as well keep it straight.

Sky has a good point though. Maybe Miss M could assign numbers to the entries? Or each owner could make up a different number that would not give away what rabbitry they are from?

I think an easy way would be to number them as they are entered. The system below is the first that came to mind, but if someone has a better idea, feel free to share it!

Example, first breeder is A, and enters three rabbits... two Cals and a NZ. They would be identified as A1, A2, and A3. If we get all the way to Z, the next exhibitor/rabbits would be Aa1, Aa2, etc.

That would work fine, and so I will leave out the ear tattoos from the listing... but I will have them matched to the breeder designations in our show. :) That way, there should be no confusion in the end.

That's the way it's done in dog shows, the exhibitor is assigned an entry number.

Okay, just to make sure I've got it all understood we need to include all of the following in the email.

3 pictures per rabbit (profile, top, rear)
Ear Tattoo Number
Weight
Breed
Variety
Age

Is that everything?

You won't need age except jr or senior, nor weight, since there is no way to really prove it. We'll just assume if it looks good, it's the correct weight.

Bunny is a jr until how old? I've never shown so never known for sure when a jr became a sr. :)

Many of the commercial meat breeds have three age classes; Jr. 6 mos. and under, Intermediate 6-8 mos., and Sr. 8mos. and over. Just ask about your specific breed and one of us will look in our SOPs and check it for you. :)

6 months of age is when a jr becomes a sr.

Actually that depends on the breed. 4-Class breeds become senior at 6 months. 6-Class breeds become senior at 8 months.

Oh my! What class do American blues and whites fall into? 2 of my Americans are turning 9 m/o this month and 2 are turning 8 m/o on the 24th. Talk about right on the cusp!! LOL

Is there going to be a pet mutt class? What about non mutt pets, like charlie's?
