It's really nasty here today... but not serious. Started with a couple of inches of snow, then that turned to rain as the temperature rose just above freezing... but there is a strong gusty wind and it is very damp. Unpleasant, but nothing to get excited about.

Lots of traffic accidents in Toronto this morning during rush hour, they say. about one every two minutes. They may have had freezing rain there... but it missed us here, I'm glad to say.

At the Renaissance festival last Saturday, the wind had us all (except Daddy in his kilt; all he had to do was unfold his cape!) shivering in our layers! There is a lake in the middle of the faire, and the wind was blowing right off of it at us!!!

But now, misty rain, cold air, chill wind = unpleasant. And that, folks, is an understatement.......

The high here was 28 today. :x I am not liking this at all! I keep saying that I am going to pack my bags and move in with my Grandpa. He lives in AZ and it is 61 there right now. That sounds a lot better!

The low was neg 2 F so it is warming up,
not enough that I don't have to pack water to the Rabbits,
but, it got above freezing in the mid-day-- so things are looking up

Its been like 27 during the day! I don't have to water the animals twice a day now.. Their water stays thawed! Can you believe that? THAW. LIKE, NO ICE.
