What color is this Holland doe?

oh please... DO NOT throw tort/shaded in your magpie or tricolour lines. Avoid as much as you can please. keep your shaded to your shaded and out of your other colours. :)

What color is this Holland doe?

to me she looks like a sable magpie with vienna gene. I had one once her patches make me think of that doe. Breed her to something that carries tort (not tort, but carries it) see what happens with her offspring. That will tell you a lot more about her.

    Does this count as broken?

she most likely has vienna in her somewhere. I would not count that as broken but more as a suspected Vienna carrier.

    Wheepy Eyes and Flinching???

Isolate her from the rest of the herd as much as you can. Try a tea bag compress first unless you are well experienced with using saline as a fluch.

    Mom aggressive to kits

separate them BEFORE she kindles as they can get bred immediately post kindling. Separate rooms with doors you can close. :) get Borris neutered in the meantime. how old are they now? if they are older than three weeks I'd remove them from mom. You can either allow her back in with them...

    removing steel genetics

i had one in a previous litter, and have four in a current litter. I'm used to seeing steel in my meat mutts... wasn't expecting in the dutch (but I don't know the parentage since they came unpedigreed).

    removing steel genetics

so since I like chocolate and blue I should just let them be and cull those obvious steel rabbits.

    removing steel genetics

So I bought in some unpedigreed dutch. SOMEONE has the steel gene in them, either the buck, or a senior doe but I'm not sure who. How do I track it down and remove it from the gene pool means what? Culling everything that could possibly carry it or just the rabbits that show it and not...

    What’s your opinion?

I'm not delighted with that breeder's reaction and the insistance that was just dandruff. it's like... if it's moving, it's NOT dandruff! Like trust the person you are talking too who was dealing with the rabbit. Good on hopefully NOT shaving him as ivermectin should do the trick in killing...

    Mites

ivermectin takes care of wool mites/fur mites/any kind of mites quite nicely. 10 days treatment plan.

    Reasonable bonding expectations

he could also have scratched himself on something (that's what I would have assumed with that mark). If they aren't actively fighting, and she's not targeting him, they are doing fine. if does really don't like someone... they tend not to be shy about saying so. Bucks tend (not always) but...

    Why is my rabbits dying

bloated so something in the feed most likely is upsetting their digestive systems.
