Is Catnip Safe For Rabbits?

I was with some of my rabbits outside, and I grabbed a piece of catnip (we have a few growing) and held them up for them to sniff
That got me thinking if rabbits could actually eat them. On Google I found a couple of things that said they're safe, but I thought I should go ahead and ask here

It's a member of the mint family, so I would cautiously treat it like mint which I believe is safe but not for pregnant or nursing does (please check for yourself, I don't trust myself on this one).

rabbits CAN eat mint, but they generally will not. My does tend to avoid it like the plague, my bucks will nibble.

Mint helps the milk supply of lactating animals to dry up. I wouldn't feed it to rabbits if you're breeding them.
