I dont think I would recommend one goat, They are a herding animal and I think they would be much happier with a partner. The bigger/Heiver the goats the easier they are to fence in my opinion so I would lean towards a normal sized goat not a mini. Without seeing the particular property it is...

Everything I have read about this guy and his birds has been positive. I plan on buying eggs from him once the weather warms up.
It is interesting you bring this up. The last couple days the rabbits have been going back to hammering their pellets then eating bread after the pellets are gone. I am not trying to totally cut out pellets but rather have a cheap food substitute that I can feed during the winter months. I feed...
Good question! This is a pickup with a really tall topper that I have filled up. Last night the temp was -20 Fahrenheit and the high for the week is around 20 fahrenheit so storage during Minnesota winters is not a issue.
I have upped the amount of bread I have been feeding and so far the results have been good. The rabbits havent been finishing their pellets they just wait for the bread. I only feed the wheat bread and it is frozen but I dont think this makes any difference. So far I am thinking expired bread...
Have any of you guys ever tried feeding bread to rabbits? I googled it and couldnt find any definitive answer as to how they may do on a diet of bread + some pellets. I can buy a truck full of bread for around 20 dollars (expired stuff) and I have been feeding it to my chickens. I also have been...
I would say farm mink. Wild mink are much slimmer and I doubt they would of stuck around for you to come back and dispatch them. Mink can crawl in J feeders if you leave the lids open and gain access to the cages that way, Just something to be aware of.
With the weather being so cold up here I think you would be disappointed in the hatch rate with shipped eggs. If you are still looking for quail when it starts go get alil warmer I will gladly send you some eggs. Or if you decide to order some from someone else I hear this guy has excellent...
With all the recent Quail talk I thought I would offer these here and see if anyone is interested. I hatched 26 Jumbo Coturnix quail today and more eggs are moving in the incubator. I only want to keep about a dozen of these little guys so I will offer the rest to RT members free. I am located...
I just feed them Layerena which is a gamebird layer feed. I dont do meal worms or anything like that. I tried giving them grasses and food scraps but they didnt really eat them so I only give them feed and give all the food scraps to the chickens now. I will just give the chicks gamebird starter...
When I first seen your location I thought I seen Iowa not Florida lol. I highly reccomend not coming this way anytime soon! I will try and take a picture of my setup and post it next week cause it really is simple and works quite well.
I would seriously consider going with Jumbo Corturnix. They will produce a bigger egg and alil bit more meat. I have not had Quail long but I think ill keep them for the rest of my life. They are so simple. I have 4 females that each lay a egg a day. I got sick of the male trying to breed them...
