    Small business frustration

Uhg, so I know this has nothing to do with rabbits but a lot of you may understand being small business owners with your rabbits. I own a very small cake decorating business out of my house and I can never seem to get steady orders. People would rather just get a half crapped cake from walmart...

    All color questions

i will watch for this, but since my tort has won BOB three times (with up to 25 other buns). I feel it is worth the risk of having to cull the bad ones to get her type into my BEW herd. Since they both have C genes atleast 1/4 their kits will be CC. So I am going to go for it and see what I get...

    All color questions

So I was trying to find a topic for color genetics etc... And did not find anything quite right so thought maybe I could start one. So if anyone has color questions : kit color, color genetics etc ask away! I'll get us started though! So I bred my black tort doe and my "vm broken tort" buck...

    Lionhead breeding question

Lionheads are what I breed. As with any animal that commonly has multiple young, one kit is hard on does. They grow large because they get all the room, all the goodies from mom etc. Being that she was a year she had a later start. But do not loose heart. I bred a maden doe at three years old...

What breed this this little bunny?

My guess would be a lop/dwarf cross... The ears are big for a dwarf but it is possible. I have seen huge ears out of my lionlops even if the lionhead parent had itty bitty ears. But then again thats just what came to my mind.

First time pregnant doe, hard stomach

How recent is the hard stomach? It doesn't really matter... But it could be contractions making her abdomen solid. Anyone who has had a baby can tell you about that lol..... Or she is just full of babies... Fill a water balloon with just a little water and it is squishy... Fill it till it is...

best website to help determine kit color

I was in the process of making a webpage like this for lionheads....but anymore, if it takes more then a day, if it aint school, and it aint money making and I do not have the time... Gotta love the road to being a vet... But this is a good one...

Am I being fair? Client demands full refund.

This made me laugh!! Ha.... but no, shed only say that if she was honest. She will make up a lie to brain wash her kid.

I agree, her saying she will cull is a threat. But I am unsure she will. If she does I pitty her 7 year old daughter. I see now that fatal culling is sometimes a needed part of breeding. But at seven that would have killed me. If she is willing to go that far to prove a point she is not one I...

Seriously, Her daughter bought the rabbit. It is still a perfectly good breeding rabbit. She is just trying to make a point at her daughters expense... If it was just the daughter involved I would like to just send her another bunny to show there are good people out there. But her mom turned it...
