If there are bigger pics, can you please send them to me? Having a hard time seeing some of the bits.
Looks like:
1. Buck
2. Doe (I can't see the slit, but it looks like it has a doe shape from far away)
3. Doe
4. Buck
5. Buck
6. Buck
Hope this helps!
Edit: From the e-mailed picture of #2...
Yay! Another Harlie person! <3
The only thing I would say is that although type is not worth a lot of points for show in this breed, good type (like full HQ and wide loin)= better meat rabbits. I know a lot of show breeders focus almost exclusively on clarity, color, and markings to where some...
We hated them as my weak hands would struggle to get the bottle on or off the clamp. Also managed to crack them and my English Lops wouldn't use them consistently either. We just use the standard bottles now and hope to transition to an automatic watering system in the future. Best of luck!
Honestly, I am not sure if it is reasonable to start a meat rabbitry without being able to butcher/process unwanted stock. I agree with Nyctra that no one can depend on a market for their culls. Here in Georgia purebred rabbits went like hotcakes for a few years until suddenly the supply...
Thanks so much for the info! Sounds like it was good to spend more for the Duratray then one that might flex (poo-disaster!) or hold onto manure. Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience though. So far, KW cages are the only stackers I've had to replace floors on. They have never been...
Thank you! That kind of review is exactly what I am looking for. I saw they had a Flush-Kleen version of the tray that can connect to a PVC pipe, but it looks like it is still shallow and also $40/tray (and I need 3). :x
It looks like the KW one is 2.25" instead of the 1.5" on the Bass...
She is BEAUTIFUL! We have a Catahoula mix that has a face like hers.. and she is a fantastic dog. Maybe a name that is "woodsy" since it is where she joined you. Her coat reminds me of the trees when the gold evening lights filters through. <3
I've been having a hard time finding 36" Duratrays from a vendor that has a secure website for ordering, but I saw that Bass Equipment has the ABS pain:

And KW cages has their version called the Polytray...
This! If you use bottles for your rabbitry, you can fill them all up and leave the tops off for a while. The smells will dissapate faster than you think. Our water here smells like a pool and we "age" all the water that isn't purchased already bottled.
Best of luck!

I'm late to this thread, but you can use a small animal clamp tattoo if it is a struggle with the pen-style. Just prep, clamp, done. I've used one like this (actually it might be this exact one) for 5 years or so now:

Best of luck!

My 3 year old doe just kindled (first timer) a healthy litter and my almost 5 year old proven doe just kindled also after a 2 year break from breeding. The buck was 5 years old also. :)
