I still see harlequinized chocolate agouti and 2 harlequinized chestnut agoutis.
I doubt the harlequin genetics did anything good for their type, since my harlis are nowhere near as typey as the meat rabbits were. I think, if it's just for meat, the most important physical criteria to me are fast growth rate, good hips, and good width.
I don't mind a little bit of a long or low shoulder in a meat mutt so long as it's not narrow.
I've dressed American rabbits (with the mandolin shape) plenty of times and have never been disappointed by the amount of meat on one..
Not that yours look bad at all. (I can't really tell since they are such fluff-balls :lol: ), I was just sharing my thoughts on what I look for. I think I bought one recently with pinched hips. He's going to be soup instead of brood stock. I'm about to make a thread on it actually.
