What color is he?

His other great dam (fathers side) was orange, and his other great sire was broken orange.
Something is wrong here. These two colors cannot produce a Martin. Martin needs an E and orange is ee. The only thing they could produce is what I think is called a Martinized Tort (atat ee). This really doesn't apply to the discussion of what color he is, except that if there are color errors in the pedigree there is really no way to tell what he really is without test breeding.

If his father was a sable Martin and not a silver marten then him being a blue sable or Seal is a not out of the question but I must say that there are a lot of odd colour breeding choices in his pedigree and quite a few unexpected colours  unfortunately it is not much help because it doesn't rule anything out and pretty much every colour is a possibility

 she also breeds for pets, so maybe she was looking for good colors? She breeds for type too, so maybe she just ignore colors? Idk.

I'm guessing it's the latter - the rabbits had very good type to she bred them. I know she's got quite a few colors so it's not like she didn't have any better pairs.
It just says Martin. I can email her though. The sable doe of mine is holding those kits in for as long as possible.

Oops, my mistake. The orange & broken orange is on his mothers side. So they produced a chestnut agouti. His sire's (the Martin) parents were BEW & black.

That is wrong as well. Orange and Broken Orange are both ee at extension. Therefore, when bred together can only produce more ee offspring. Possible combinations would be more orange, martized tort or tort (and of course broken and modifiers of those colors if both sire and dam happen to be carriers). However, chestnut requires an E. Any chance his chestnut dam is a mis-registered tort? That would make his being a dark blue tort much more likely.

Oh and I looked at her site again and his sire, Puff, is listed as a smoke pearl.

I'd say the father is tan, sable, blue and tort :D = at_ B_ cchl _ dd ee (it's not a recognized colour in any breed so doesn't have a name ...maybe blue sable marten fox ???)

A "smoke pearl" is also known as a blue sable = aa B_ cchl_ dd E_

Although many people call blue points (= aa B_ cchl_ dd ee) smoke pearls

While a blue sable marten is = at_ B_ cchl_ dd E_

Chestnut x blue sable marten fox (what a mouthful ) could produce pretty much anything if the chestnut had the right recessives so again, not much help.

We'll just have to see if there are any torts in the litter with your broken sable doe :)
