my normal ones are,
4 bucks (1 cinnoman, 2 holland lops (trying to sell one of 'em), 1 mini rex)
6 does (2 mini rex, 1 lop, 1 NZ/Cali, 1 lionhead mix, 1 lionhead/NZ mix)

Ones I have on hold for someone to buy/look at tomorrow.
2 bucks (lionhead/NZ mix)
1 doe (lionhead/NZ mix) who I expect kits within the next few days if not tonight, she started nest making and can feel the babies.

so normally I have 10 which if the doe that is expecting isn't sold tomorrow I'll add her into the keep does. And all but one of my does are suppose to be bred, so number probably to go up sometime in the near future.

I keep mine in cages which are placed next to each other for the most part. Working on building a play pen/exercise pen as soon as I can get the wire and wood to do so.

I just started getting rabbits 2 months ago and have:

1 Junior SQ Mini lop buck
1 Junior SQ mini lop doe (due to kindle tomorrow)
2 Junior BQ Minilop does
and 1 PQ polish buck age unknown
and just sold a BQ senior Netherland doe last week
so 5 for now, lol. I only have 7 holes and no more room so this could get interesting.

Uh...update. I had two more litters the evening of the 23rd when I got home (18 more) and sold 4 on Saturday... sooo I guess that's 96. :shock:

That's 3 bucks, 12 does, and the rest are kits.

Three of the does and 1 of the bucks will be departing before the end of the week.

but i am hoping to keep one of the adult bucks, keep one of the young bucks, keep the 3 young does. and sell the rest as i can and buy some NZs and such. right now i have lionheads, dutch, a couple minirex, a couple mutts. hopefully then i will be able to stop using the CURSED hutch (evil! EVIL I TELL YOU!) and be better organized.

so if anyone in or near ohio wants some dutch or lionheads PM me i have a few adorable crosses too.

That is where I am trying to get. I have a does that gave me 11, 8, 6, 5, 4, and one. The single little got a late start (first litter at 3), and she is a certain color I want, so I will excuse her. Litter of 5 is a dwarf breed, pretty good. But the 4 and 6 are meat breeds, not their first litters, I expect more of them, kind of spoiled with the 11 and 8 litter.

I keep count by counting cages.

53 and expecting kits. The number stays pretty constant, limited by cage space, and because I cull so heavily.
