Snot rabbits die, doesn't matter to me the reason. Sneezers move to my isolation/for sale area and are either culled or sold to the pet market.
these type of rabbits shouldnt be sold for the pet market. If they are not good enough for you to keep. Then they should be culled. No exception. because most of these rabbits get bred even if they say they will not breed them or sell them.

I would walk around and wait until one sneeze so you know which one it is. If it isnt eating or drinking at the time of sneezing. Then i would take that rabbit and cull it on the spot. If it is drinking or eating at the time of the sneeze then just watch it. It will get worse over time and at that same time the others will get as you are watching to see which one is sneezing. So if it take an hour to watch then watch at a time when you can do it. but take the time.

not sure what the proof for this statement is. can you supply research that backs this statement up.

I follow up with lots of my rabbits and very few are used for breeding.

I would not sell them to the pet market. If they have something not a threat to the rest of my herd they will be kept as pets by my partner. He is extremely attached to them and is only willing to slaughter them if we have no other choice. Under no condition would I sell a sick or inferior rabbit. I also am not breeding any of my others for the pet market, they are all for meat for our family. I will definitely try and sit down and watch them until I can locate the sneezers. I did so for about an hour and a half before, and no sneezes, but then of course when I gave up and was heading towards the door I heard two sneezes. I'll give it another try though. I'm still hoping for the best on this, though I know the chances are very bleak.

there is still few of them that are.. It only takes one rabbit ,then it goes around. I believe in,not selling any animal that you wouldnt keep for yourself. If you wouldnt , dont pond it off to someone else. Here ,there is lots of that... Or they let them go in the yard or bush. I am dealing with a rabbit that isnt mine and keeps helping himself to the ducks food. But it has no other means of food right now. But i cant touch because of my rabbits. So i have to see this rabbit being chased by my dogs 3 times a day. As soon the dogs are in the house i see the rabbit coming back to eat. It isnt the rabbit fault. When you sell rabbits that sneeze to a pet home. Is WRONG....But that is my outlook. I will never do it. I hate when others do.
