Well there is one thing I'm sure of.....There's a lot of mountains between my house and Marietta! I started up the foot of the Blue Ridge Mtns about 30 min from the house and stayed, either going up or down for the remainder of the trip. I left Friday about 7 and arrived in Marrietta around 11:30 getting a room for the night. The weather sure changed overnight as it was pretty chilly with rain when I left the motel for the show as compared to a rather balmy evening in the upper 60's. I enjoyed the show and meeting the folks with the Blennerhassett Rabbit Club. The only fault with the way the show was run I had was that the Tans were not shown until 2PM and then the B show went first with the A following. My rabbits were tuckered out and so was I before they ever got to the table. A Tan that is tired is not going to show his best, as they don't want to run the table. I was done and on the way home by 3:30 arriving back home at about 8. Coming back I got to see all the mountains I missed in the dark going up and yep there were a bunch of them. Ha. I believe I saw the American Chinchillas being shown. I was real tempted to bring one of the Giant Chinchilla's home with me that the one fellow had for sale. They were some nice looking rabbits. I believe there were more English Spots at that show than at any show I've been to, to date. And last but not least, the bowl of noodles with chicken -- YUM.
