Quorra: Lost her arm to one of CLU's minions and would have died if it weren't for Sam and Flynn, both guys!

Not quite killed, but do you honestly think Flynn would've survived that long without her? She was the one who led Tron to the I/O tower, and she was the one who stole the solar sailor!

Gem: Blown up by CLU, another guy.

A risk she took that soured quickly, after she helped Sam out of a jam. She was part of a group of mercenaries. Risk was her business. And did Zuse help her? No.

Once again, Sam would've been dead without her several times over. He just got a chance to pay her back for two of those times.
