Hahaha, and rabbits actually have extremely short gestation periods...
BUT THERE'S NO KITS YET. grrrrr!! She has a beautiful nest and no kits. And the worst part is that I'm not going to be here tonight or tomorrow morning... I'm leaving at 5ish and getting back tomorrow at 12ish. My dad is going to feed the bunnies, but since Ink Blot isn't completely used to him (he only sometimes visits the rabbitry) then I'm not sure she'll react well if he looks in the nest. I'll just tell him to just look outside the nest and make sure there are no loose babies.
ahhhhh!!!!! she's driving me crazy. She built a beautiful nest- it's perfect for our humid weather. There's grass hay, neatly arranged so that the sides are lined high with hay, and just the right amount of fur. She better kindle soon... I'm going to go check

__________ Sat Jul 13, 2013 1:46 pm __________

no kits. Not that I expect her to kindle in the middle of the day, but...
I'm leaving at 4:15. I'll check at 4.

Ahhhh!!!!!!!! The darned doe hasn't kindled yet!!!!!!! Today is Day 36, and she has a beautiful nest that she built on Day 34.... She isn't acting like she's in pain or anything... she's acting normal.
Wildwolf did you see "Coco's Surprise 8 new kits" posted this morning?........41 days!!! I'd still like to know the record.... just curious.
Anyway Wildwolf she still has time and maybe she wanted you home first!!
She is definitely pregnant- haystaches/nests can be built during a false pregnancy, but she really does look pregnant. She's not fat, but her belly hangs down a bit.
She is still so sweet. She's been moody, but the meanest she has gotten is jumping out of my arms when I picked her up (normally, she'd sit there and expect to be petted). She even let my dad look in her nestbox!
