85% of the dogs I work on don't look like that either, I'd starve :p

If you were closer you could groom my dog. He has so much thick thick hair that its really a pain to groom him. Plus he is in need of a trim. I don't like doing it myself but No one else around here knows how to trim a Pom properly. I would absolutely die if I went to pick up my dog and he was half bald or cut with a puppy cut.

Aww, thanks TM  You should be very clear with your groomer what you want regarding your dog before leaving the dog and if you don't feel comfortable leaving your dog, don't.

fishdip, those are handheld human hair dryers, not the ones we use for grooming animals. The ones we use do not have heating elements in them, the only heat they produce is from the motor and we don't generally fall asleep using them at work.

I also use it for my dogs, so I don't mind buying a great piece of equipment for 2 purposes.

I bought my blower for use on my dogs, but have also used it as a "leaf blower" and dirt blower. It does a great job clearing debris off of indoor/outdoor carpet and "sweeps" our dirt for me, giving me an almost pavement like surface... but it was still feeling underused and unappreciated, so I was forced to buy a trio of Jersey Woolys to keep it busy. ;)

I took skys suggestion and bought a vacuum with a blower on it. I use it to clean my indoor cages every day. And I clean it and use a different hose to dry my hair ball dog and blow out the bunnies.

It does a great job drying my pom and thats no easy task.

3mina People around here just don't seem to know what they are doing. They do a sorry example of a puppy cut and thats about it. I used to groom show poms for my sister so I do my own Pom. I just don't feel like it that much because he takes so much time to do with all that hair. I would love to have someone I could trust do him instead. :)
