My life has been crazy the last 3-4 days!! What I have missed on RT??

Here are Lexi's and Fiona's litters!! Fiona's were all sleepy and good little kits and lined up for their class picture. Lexi's were at recess and being bad so I couldn't get a photo of them in line! I had my first jumpers and shriekers with Lexi's litter. Whew, I hope they calm down!!

Jumping and shrieking! Oh my! Are they all well fed? That might be hungry behavior?

Beautiful babies though!! :) (I'm such a sucker for spots!)

I think Fiona's babies should have been lined up according to shade, so we could see a nice spectrum line. ;)

A week old already!!!!! I can't believe it! And the most exciting part is that it seems that this litter is going to be the first ever litter that I have had everybunny live!!!!

4 little dilute ermines. They are entirely pink and not very interesting looking yet. Hezaa just keeps covering them and they already ran away from the majority of the fur pile. Now having mostly run out of fur to pull she's putting her hay on them. Hezaa does build great cool weather nests but she might freeze to death herself.

Can I make a request? When posting a picture, can everyone also type in what breed of rabbit the kits are? That the first question I usually have when looking at a picture of a litter, "hmm, wonder what kind those are"
I'm sure, at some point moat everyone has mentioned what kind of rabbit they have, but I can't remember everyone's user name, and the names and breeds of every rabbit everyone has ever owned.
Thank you.

Pile up!!

Lexi's bunch are super active, and one in particular is a hyper little thing. They're all noisy too!! I've never had such a noisy bunch!!!

Fiona's litter is quiet, calm and so cute!! Their NZR heritage makes them considerably larger than their half siblings in Lexi's bunch.

All kits have the same father, a MR. Lexi is a NZx, and Fiona is a NZR.

The long awaited Jasmine (chocolate gold tipped steel) X Frett(opal) pairing.
Mix breed meat rabbits
Despite being an experienced doe for another breeder, she somehow failed to pull hair for her first litter with me. :( Thinking it might be a fluke, so I tried again. I think there are 9 or 10 of them in there. Only 8 are visable

Genotypes
Dam: Aa bb C_ Dd EsE

Sire: Aa Bb CC dd EE

Black, chocolate, blue and lilac are possible, in self, steel and agouti.

As far as I'm aware there is no non-extension in these lines. We've been line breeding, and I've test bred sporadically to homozygous non-extension colors. No rabbit from any of these lines has ever produced it.

There was rew..but it seems to have gotten lost somewhere. I have at least one doe who still carries it, but I do not believe the buck I was using, Frett, was a carrier, as he never produced any with known carriers. I'm sure it will crop back up when least expected

Anyway...I THINK that kit on the right may be a chocolate chestnut. My very FIRST chocolate chestnut. :mbounce:

Don't trust the sizes, my camera really loves to distort those.
