16 new cages

New cages 24x30x16 high gotta say I love these things the does are more comfortable up until it's time to move the kits...next question is what cage size would people recommend for kits up until 12 week and how many per cage including how high?

I tend to put no more than four per cage when meat rabbit sized. Then I pull the biggest two out at week 10.

30 or 36

Most of my cages are 36x30x18. I might put a whole litter in there right at weaning because my breed can be weaned at 4-5 weeks. But then I separate them by sex within a week or two which means typically 3-6 per cage depending on litter size and sex split.

I have 18"x24" cages and only ween two per cage, and that can be crowded at times. So, two per cage three is absolutely necessary.
