What will I get from a REW and BEW......

Purple Eyed White, basically there is a purple hue to the eyes. If you are aiming for BEW then breeding to another BEW or a Vienna marked/or even carrier would be what you need. If you are wanting to get REW then bred to another REW is best but can be bred with pretty much any of the other...

What will I get from a REW and BEW......

PEW's are likely in that breeding combination. Also, with mixing those 2 varieties, people who breed for showing would not be interested in adding any of those babies to their lines.

Anyone have advise on building nest boxes

Here is a link to the ones my son and his grandpa made for us to use. They would work for your Hollands but you would need to do different sized for the NZ. http://www.thenaturetrail.com/rabbit-eq ... wood-plan/

    Ethan is here

He is quiet the handsome little fellow! I was wondering what happened to get him up to Toledo. Hopefully, once it gets warmer again, we will bump into you and I can see him in person.

    Polish breed

My youngest daughter has some Polish she is starting to breed, they are pretty friendly for the most part and not a ton of them at shows compared to the Hollands. Ours have the same temperament that our Netherlands and Lionheads have but that might be in part to us handling them a lot.

Thank you for posting his picture for me Homer. He is such a bundle of energy so it is hard to get a picture of him still at home. __________ Tue Oct 28, 2014 8:20 pm __________ We lost our Siamese in early October due to old age and just happened to post online that I was looking for...

Who can recommend some drop pans?

I would find a local cage maker and buy a dura tray from them or order online from Klubertanz.

My new kitten is in 2 different ads online!!!! Make that 3~

So, I adopted an adorable little Siamese kitten on the 11th of this month. Before we picked him up his foster mom took a very cute picture of him and submitted it to somewhere online. He has now popped up in a post for Stanley Steamer San Diego and an ehow article about pet safe and feeding...

Is it the end of the road for her?

She looks like she is just molting to me too, a major molt at that.

    Midwest bun fest

Not something I would go to since it looks to be mainly done by the Rabbit House Society.

2014 ARBA Nationals in Fort Worth

My youngest has 1 Lionhead entered. So nervous about sending the rabbit with a transporter so far away and for so long to top off the curiosity of how well the doe will place seeing as she is just about to become a senior! Please molt fairy.....stay away. Now I need to find someone else that is...

    Ever started a club?

Same boat as you both. A friend of mine and myself are wanting to start up a more regional Lionhead club, have not figured out anything towards getting it going yet though.

    Should I budge?

I will typically take $5 off if someone is in 4-H/FFA for our Lionheads just to get more kids involved in the breed. Around my area it seems that 99% of the kids are keeping their rabbits after fair (beyond meat pens/fryers since those mainly go up for auction).

    Raising an orphan kit

Wish it was a smidge younger, I would have offered to foster it for you. Our current litter is only a little over 2 weeks old though.
