Thanks, we lost another 2 kits the same happend last litter 7 0ut of 10 survived, they a week old now and all looking fed and wrinkles have gone, only one has a few goldeny wrinkles so as long as they looking well and feeding i would say all ok...just looked a little weird thanks again :)

Thanks everyone... I would say I wouldnt like to be the cause of spreading any rabbit disease from wild ones to our meat rabbits so will pass on the idea, and maybe i can try hare one day :)

might seem a strange naive question but have just found someone in Ireland who deals with wild rabbits as a pest controller and would let me have some young ones(if i knew they would breed with my meat rabbits) couldnt find enough info through google but have faith in rabbit talk for some...

thats strange and a bit confusing, i was told by the breeder who i bought the doe and buck that they were pure bred Californian so they cant be called californian rabbits after all what with the 3kits resulting in REW , but if the REW ones were bred to a californian marked would i get a mix...
