I have been known to strengthen my bottom cage wire with a bit of cloths line cable when hanging a big cage. You J-clip it to the wire and there is nothing for poo to catch on. Looks like you got great help!

I toss my doe back in with the buck a week after the first breeding. Normally I can tell by her reaction if she is breed or not. If she really builds a nest I would put the box in, otherwise wait till closer to due date.

They don't, if you look close you will see that there is a complete wire cage enclosed by the plywood exterior. The rabbit can not reach the wood.

I got them from Bennie Wade in Oolitic, Indiana. Great guy, nice setup. I think he is VP of the breeders club? These rabbits made weight. They both have some winners in their pedigree. We are happy to have them on the farm.
