I can't remember if I was supposed to update on this thread or the picture thread.

Hannah had her kits.

One looks white, one looks maybe-magpie(last maybe-magpie I had ended up just being a weird harlequin), one is minimally broken, one is VERY pale silver-ish and two look like chestnuts, or possibly opal or whatever-hannah-is. It'll be an interesting bunch to see grow out. I'll do photos in a while, I'm sure <br /><br />__________ Thu Mar 07, 2013 3:55 pm __________<br /><br />Sooooo... I asked in a FB group, and had "Sable Chinchilla" suggested again. I googled "sable chinchilla lionhead", and ended up on this website where I found a "sable chinchilla" that looks JUST like Hannah.

There is still the mystery of the Magpie kit and the black chinchilla kit, but they were in the same litter, and I had no information on the buck - they could have gotten cchd from him. She definitely carries dilute, and seems to have a tendency for passing that on.

When will they invent a genetics test for rabbits?!
