8/25 Update
Woke up to kits this morning! Mama had 10 popples, no stillborn. I did find the runt on the wire, but I think the scraper bar missed it when she jumped out. Only major concern was that the runt didn't look like out head been fed. Also concerned that the let might be a little big for her. When we get home tonight I'll check on everyone again and see if everyone is doing ok. I'll post pics then, too.
Ended up with three brokens, one of them has a mustache! Anyways, it turns out my BEW buck Carries the broken gene.

So, we built Mama a new nest box today... ended up going with the kind that hangs outside the hutch, and I can honestly say that I love it, and apparently so does Mama!
I popped inside to take a shower and my husband came in all excited saying that she started doing the 'Haystach Thing'. Lol. He was so excited! I am too. I think he said he may have actually gotten some video of her. I'll have to see and if he did I'll post the video. It was such a neat thing to watch her meticulously build her nest. At one point, she apparently decided she didn't have enough hay and so she sprawled out in her cage waiting for more, but in the meantime, didn't want to let go of what she had already gathered. So, we stuck a ton in there, and she promptly went to town gathering up more!
