So my doe was due on the 27th(exactly one month since she was put with the buck and I witnessed the coupling this time). She's huge and so far so signs of any nesting or anything, she started nesting two or three days before she gave birth with her previous litters. But she's so big, she can't even bend to groom her back fur anymore and it's getting ratty looking xD.

Her behavior is normal and she's eating a and drinking just fine, when she poops, it's those clumpy poops they get while they're pregnant/nursing.

At first, I thought she was having a false pregnancy, until I saw the babies moving around last night.

I know late is better than early, but 3 days seems like it's stretching it a bit.

Gestation for rabbits averages 30-31 days. I don't know if you call four weeks a month or 30-31 days, but if she was bred on June 27, she is not really very much overdue.

If you have access to lavender buds (just the right time of year in many areas) then keep them in reserve in case she goes seriously past her due date. They can be fed fresh or dried. I don't recommend their use unless there is good reason--interfering with Mother Nature is a bit risky at best. They are reputed to cause contractions expelling the contents of the uterus. I do not know if it poses any additional risk to the kits, but there are times when the doe's well-being comes first.

Ohhh. I thought gestation was 28 days.

She's 31 days pregnant today (bred on June 29th)

Maybe I'm just overly anxious, not sure why, the last litter she had I was like "meh" until they were born, but maybe that's because I didn't know exactly when she was due lol.

She'll probably have her babies in the next day or so. Most of my rabbits normally have their litters on the 32nd or 33rd day, I did however have 1 doe that had her litter on the 40th day but she only had 4 & they were stillborn which was to be expected (I've never had a doe go that long before though). I,m also expecting 48 litters over the next few days.

They're here :bunnyhop: Born early this morning (after Midnight anyway)

I really need to stop overreacting, but the more you learn lol.

She was so big that I expected a bunch of little ones, but I guess the two big ones would explain why she was so round xD.

She had 6, but one was stillborn.

Congratulations!!!!!

My first OB/GYN got all antsy when I went past my due date. He scheduled me for an induction on Monday morning and I went into labor Saturday night! (Not that I was going in for the induction; I had decided that by Friday night.)

"Dr. Fireclaws, the babies have arrived and the mother didn't even tell you..." LOL

very nice group.

After several years, I still stand around in the barn, peaking, hand in nests, counting and recounting, palpating again and again...

I have a doe that is haystaching only being bred for 14 days. Not her first litter. Wondered if this seems to early or maybe a false pregnancy

It can be a false pregnancy, but she's probably just enthusiastic. :)
