Tattooing pregnant rabbits

Is it safe to tattoo pregnant rabbits? Or how soon after they have babies can the be tatted?

I use the clamp method and have never had a issue with many not being calm. Is the ink safe though?

I would expect the ink to be safe for any rabbit, whether it's pregnant or not? Generally, once a doe is expecting, we keep her as calm and quiet as possible. Can you use a marker pen to mark her ears until after the babies are weaned?

I could. But my does a re register for a show 3 days after the babies are weaned

Ya I could but all of my does are registered for a show 3 days after all babies are weaned so I was hoping to do it know so the ears are cleaned up before the show
