My mini rex had her first litter on August 27th. she had three babies, but I knew she had to have more than that. I checked her stomach and her left side looks thin but her right side looks swollen. When she lays down you can see lots of movement on her right side. On the 28th at 9 am she was building another nest but I interrupted and she wasn't having that so she stopped making her nest.

I moved her downstairs in an empty bedroom we have, so she can have some peace and quiet. She's been down there for three days, I gave her raspberry tea, I fed her lots of parsley, I even tried her with my buck and NOTHING. She's had those other kits inside of her for five days now.. I don't want to take her to the vet but people keep telling me she could get an infection and die? they're still alive too! what do you guys suggest I do? This is really stressing me out. :(

Do you see the movement without touching her stomach? Sometimes their organs are just getting back to normal after kindling and will feel like kits. I have never heard of kits being born this far apart. :( Maybe someone else will have some experience with that. Also, my does often spruce up their nests with more hay after kindling. Is this what she could be doing, or is she building a nest in an entirely new spot?

I can see movement and I can also feel movement.
She gave birth inside of her igloo, the next day she was carrying fur in her mouth and putting it inside of the igloo.
It could be she isn't pregnant anymore, I bred them twice in one day so I thought it would of made their litter bigger..but I could of sworn I felt movement as well.

If she's acting normal for a new mom, I'd just watch her. Hopefully, she's really done.
She is! She's been eating and drinking as well. She also let my buck mount her after she gave birth? I got him off before he could get the job done, but I really hope she is done.

Rabbits will often rebred right after kindling if given the chance. I'd be prepared for another litter in 31 days even if you're pretty sure he didn't "complete the job", just to be on the safe side.
