I think it's fascinating, too... I visit that website myself occasionally. I didn't realize it had been renamed, until I typed in solarcycle24.com and it redirected. :)

It's not working for me right now. The address is correct, though. I did replace it in the OP, just in case there was something wrong with it that I couldn't see.

I found it interesting... that on the network news they mentioned the latest solar flare... then added that " it will Not effect earth " .

Part of me wonders if they are merely trying to diffuse people's concerns.........
And then, other times, they'll scream, IT COULD MAKE THE WHOLE GRID GO DOWN, and nothing happens. Like you said, it serves to desensitize people.

The Main stream news [ mostly commentary] said there is now a risk that some of the grid could be "disrupted"
but-- whenever something is on the mainstream news, I find myself wondering -- just what is it that the "Ministry of misinformation" wants me to believe, or feel, or what are they trying to direct my attention away from, -. [but--I could be just a little overly skeptical /cynical ]

I must be a cynic too. When I see something that looks like an obvious diversion...I always try my hardest to find what the media doesn't want me to notice.
I'm not gullible enough to believe that public attention and opinion aren't carefully manipulated when its SO EASY to do so.

when the national, and international news we get here [in the US], is focusing on the royal , or presidential couple's clothes [or lack of such] , lovers, vacation destinations, golf games, movie stars antics, and gay rights, -it is a dead giveaway -- there is something going on they don't want our simple minds to focus on, - problem is-- their strategy works...
