Sneaky wise older doe.

Well, I put the web cam in front of her nest box, so I can check on her all the time with my phone.

When you are out there she just lays around. After we leave she is all over the place. Sitting up grooming herself. Hoping in and out of the nest box.
I put some hay in there last night, as I saw her kind of digging, and oddly moving up and down now and then.
She just ignored the box, and quietly chewed a stem of grass hay, till I left.
This evening she is franticly hay stashing and just going nuts in that box.
I am more hopeful that she will kindle in the next day or so. Tomorrow is day 31... opcorn:

Caught her stashing that hay tonight.
I don't know if she made any leeway, she
took it in and out many times.

I went out to see the babys wriggling in a nest of soft brown fur.

She is laying there looking at me, like, nothing whatsoever is going on here, get
back in your house.
