He's doing pretty good. I never talked to the lady because it's healing fine. I'm just keeping an eye on it.

your pretty much doing what you should be. I had a doe that got bit and it skinned her! I cut the flap of skin that was hanging and treated it like an open wound. For your rabbit I would suggest penicillin shots if there is still infection. Give the rabbit a shot of 1cc of Penicillin in the back of the leg once a day - it's an inner-muscular drug so you have to get it in the muscle. Hope your bunny is doing okay!

That's basically what happened to the kit (actually 2, but one is not nearly as bad as this one. She had a little feather hanging off of her side for about a week or so. But she just has a scar now. She's totally fine) it ripped the skin off of the area around his shoulder (which makes is somewhat difficult to clean, because the area that got infected is kind of under his elbow. So it's a tad more difficult to clean, but it's getting better.
