BTW, Zass you have beautiful opals!!! I've got a pelt from someone on DA and it was one of your bunnies. Massive rabbit!

Might have been a big fryer, or maybe one of Pancake's sister's...My opals started from FG/NZ crosses so they were pretty big. The new generations are to be a bit smaller but much more plush.

It kinda looks like a buck to me but it's hard to tell from just a pelt.


I like the opal color and it's nice to see such well marked rabbits. I have a GTS opal and she almost look like a normal opal just really smutty the only reason I know she's steel is because of the inside of the ears. I don't like it but she gives me big litters and she's made me appreciate a well marked agouti rabbit.

I think the only GTS I really like are chocolates and lilacs.

Celice, I'm going to give my complete answer to this in a PM so that I don't hijack the thread. For anyone reading though, SF are just as big as NZ. I bred a smaller type into my lines as well.
