MSD, IPO is basiclly schutzhund, really neat to watch.

How fantastic! That takes a high drive dog- you definitely need to have the time to keep up on training.

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing Frabo might have a Malinois...

Thanks for the welcome!

MamaSheepdog,
I do indeed have a Malinois, I am impressed that you would guess that! And a German Shepherd, and an American Bulldog..( I have problems sticking to just one breed it would seem..)

We also have a flock of Dual Purpose Chickens, quite the assortment of breeds there, as well as 3 Muscovy Ducks. Also we have a pet Harlequin doe, from a breeding I did about 5 years ago and an Alexandrine Parakeet.

The new rabbits should make the “homestead” complete. Picking them up on Saturday..getting excited now.

Hi Frabo,

Can't wait to hear about your new rabbits you are picking up on Saturday. It's definitely very exciting. Wishing you all the luck with your new start with rabbits.

Score! :hooray: Well, they are known for their high drive, and haven't been watered down by over-popularity, so it was a logical assumption. :) Do you compete with the other dogs too? I would think the American Bulldog would be very challenging to train for it.

It sounds like you have quite the collection of animals. :) I have an assortment of chickens also, including Black Australorps and Buff Orpingtons- they are both very sweet dual purpose breeds. We also have some Americaunas- they can be rather flighty, but I love the colored eggs. :)

I wont be here until late Sunday or Monday morning, but look forward to seeing pictures of your new rabbits!

Yes, I do compete with the other dogs, and yes, the Bulldogs are certainly a challenge to train some days. Not as quick to catch on and can have a real mind of their own but you couldn’t ask for a sweeter dog in the house, and the only dog here I can run with the chickens. She is my constant shadow.

We have Black and Blue Orps. Probably my favourite of the birds right now. We also have Standard and Bantam Brahmas, Welsummers, black Ameraucanas and Partridge Chanteclers.

I will post some pictures next week of the new rabbits.
