i have a pregnant Californian doe and I have no clue when she will kindle. ( she was not suppose to be bred but, my 7 year old cousin mixed up the bunnies and now shes pregnant. She has mad her nest just has not pulled her hair and you can feel her babies and they are a little bigger than a gold ball. She is very territorial right now and growls and trys to nip my hand when I stick it in the cage. She also lays down most of the time. Can anyone please give me an estimated time when they think she will kindle??

If she's nesting, it's probably really close. Can you see the babies kicking when she lays down? Gold ball? Could you compare the sizes to fruits? Or coins, possibly?

There's really not an easy way to tell. Some does nest early, some wait until the last minute. All you can do at this point, is leave her be. Make sure she has plenty of hay or straw for her nest box, plenty of food and water, and keep an eye out.

*fingers crossed*

Well yes you can see them kick sometimes like when she lays on her side. And her babies are about the size of a golfball.

You can normally see the babies kick towards the end of the pregnancy, at least in my does. I'd say maybe 1 week more at the most. But that's just when I'm guessing she'll kindle, based on my does. Good luck!
