I’m cutting back my peppers to try and overwinter them. I’m guessing the foliage is not recommended for rabbits? Not a lot else growing at this point (it’s been a super dry summer). I’m even almost out of thistles. Does anyone know whether pepper leaves and stems will harm them?

Thanks so much! I thought they probably were okay. I’ll give them a bit to make sure they can tolerate it, since I haven’t fed them pepper leaves before. (They do love peppers, though. Even the hot ones.) I just watched your video, and the stir-fry looks soooo good. I didn’t realize how long I was working in the garden and I think it might be time for at least a snack! The bunnies will have to share.

I have a bunch of pepper plants and never thought of feeding the leaves to the rabbits. Guess I'll give it a try too.
