One of my rabbits is just skin and bones.

I've separated him from 3 others so I can monitor his intake. Don't know if he has bad appetite or if the others were picking on him. I noticed he was quiet by himself at times. His teeth looks OK but he doesn't seem to eat much even in his own cage.

I'd monitor water intake...maybe some pedialite would help perk them up?

My sick bunny that didn't make it was eating well when she died. Eating is good, it is a good sign, but they could still be sick.

When it is really hot out we give our horses Gatorade. Not sure if Rabbits can have that but pedialite would be a good idea.

The paint I used to own LOVED Gatorade. LOVED it. He would suck down entire bottles of "fruit punch" flavored Gatorade. He'd steal it out of my cooler every chance he got. Lord knows how he got the tops off.

And then I had a horse with a lovely bright white face and BRIGHT red lips. Try explaining THAT to a show-judge! :lol:

Could stress be part of the problem? With being beat up by others, and now in his own space, taking him time to settle down to know there is no danger of attacks from others? Though he's quiet in his own space, he might be coming around and that's why he ate all his pellets today?

Sounds like coccidia to me. Weight loss and lack of appetite are two of the symptoms. He may also have a dull coat, diarrhea, pale mucous membranes, etc. This link details coccidia infection further, and offers treatment options:

Sorry for your loss. My bunny is sick now and eating she’s not walking. Just left vet, going to a different one tomorrow. My 6 year old daughter, I told her we’ll love on her and if something happens I’ll buy her a new one.
