Well, she lost 8 kits. Probably because today was shearing day and all sheep were moved into the barn last night. She ignored the nest and piled fur in back corner instead. Near freezing temps over night, so no luck saving them.
Rebred and trying again. Will cull if she fails next time, though.

Weird castor was starting problems, so he was moved into cull cage. The choc mutt & the rex doe were moved into a cage. And the rex buck got a cage.
Blu & Onyx kits are moving to grow out pen next week.

2 rex bucks dog food. Pelts in pickle.
45 had 8 kits, 2 chocolate.

Moved 14s kits out. Being all black, they'll blend with the others soon. So, kept them separate instead.


Onyx and 4 biggest kits still with her.


6 smallest Onyx kits moved out for dogfood. Now 3 left.

Grumpy kits. 2 bucks are calm, everyone else is a turd. None would pose. Some culls, but hard to tell when they won't sit pretty.

Two are biggest, 2.89 one is a cull. Others I'm keeping to watch.




Onyx kits, 4 biggest were held back with mom. Looks like only 1 is worth keeping. But 2 culls and I'll watch the other two.

Thinking of moving out the last non pedigreed SF doe, MD45. But she's better than one of the ped does, who only has small litters. Hmm...

MD45 has choc babies, the pedigreed does don't. So...idk. I guess I'll keep her until I have bred her offspring enough to have a pedigree. Her Choco doe had blue kits!

Looks like Choco is a better shape than the younger choc sister & younger black sis is better than choc one.

Added a tube to show water level!
Had a rabbit chew the tube and drain all of the water! Now I'll know when to refill just by a glance.


And Choco with her kits(2 blue, 1 choc) & 2 black fosters from Blackie.

And the new LGD was chosen today! Won't come home for 2-3wks, though. The laziest, sleepiest, most mellow boy. Gonna call him Snorlax.
