So it ultimately doesn't matter because they are what they are, but I enjoy trying to predict the color. All these kits are from the same dam, different sires.
These are chestnut newborns. They are dark grey and within a day, nearly black.
These are 3 white and 4 solid blue despite the initial pink and the varying grey tones, they were all solid blue.
So this litter has brown tones to it, maybe it doesn't show in the photo, but they are definitely brown tone. So....blues? chocolate? cream?
The dam is blue. She has blue, black otter, siamese sable and smoke pearl in her pedigree.
The sire is chestnut VC. He has BEW and blue in his pedigree.
Thoughts? I am hopeful for something different but I fear I have another boring set of blue.......
