New nesting tunnels :)

My concrete nesting tunnels (a 2 hole concrete slob) is done.
I find it amazing how they all pop out to explore..and then suddenly disappear when they're not curious anymore..

Anyhow, I made a concrete nesting tunnel with two ''rooms'' and to be able to check on kits, it has two lids I can lift away It's.. really just that. But I like the rounder look of it than the box I had before (which is now moved to the outside pen)

And then.. gone? Wasn't it a crowded pen just a moment ago? *lol*

That's really neat, Zab! I like the more natural look of it than the rectangular tunnels you had.

What did you use as a "skeleton" for it? Hardware cloth?

Yes, hardware cloth but I had to dress it with paper so the concrete wouldn't fall through.. so it's not as durable as it should have been. But good enough!

Maybe you could use burlap bags or even an old bed sheet to cover the wire next time... because I just know you'll be making more structures to replace those boring angular boxes before long! :lol:

Haha! You know me too well, but I don't see how a bedsheet would be better I'd need to get he wire inside the concrete.
But right now I'm good with some rest.
