I can see why you'd call that blue, especially the more heavily marked one. I do find that the tort colors darken as they age; in fact some of my tort mini rex got too dark to be shown after a couple of years. But if the bunnies were blue torts, you'd expect the brown to be paler too, more a diluted fawn instead of orange.

Of those two, I like the opal/chin better. In the photos he seems to have a shorter, deeper body and a more correct peak, although he seems like he might be a little tucked up in his pose so it might be something of an illusion.

The VM Black looks a bit long and flat in comparison. Are these animals you're using to produce meat rabbits?

Sad that you might lose your rex buck; why do you expect this might happen?
there’s already a thread about the Rex buck so I’m not going to talk to make about him but will I was looking at the opal/chins I saw him eating on his own so he is getting better (he has a cold). The chin/opal doe (the fluffy one) has the blue/yellow on top and dark blue at the base and the buck has some parts of his body that have a blue base and some parts with a fawn base even though without blowing into his fur he doesn’t have the different coloring.

kaly’s babies are now 900g to 1kg. the chestnut and the two blacks have gotten a haircut. They are now 12 weeks old.
lady’s babies are now 700g to 900g. The blue fox got a haircut too. Also 12 weeks old.
I think I’m going to keep the vm frosty. Still don’t know which buck I’m keeping.

What colors do you think this buck is? The ear lacing look lilac but he is getting darker so I’m not sure.
