There’s one broken something and 4 false Charlie/Charlie somethings. if pseudo was broken under her REW and the buck was broken could there be brokens and Charlies in the same litter?
i know.False Charlies are just Brokens with not enough color
but I’m happy to finally have real Charlies.Yes, I'm pretty sure that would happen.
Good to read that things are going well
I can’t wait to experience this!!My doe kaly had 5 babies. This is her second litter. Her first litter was a mess so I hope this one goes better and it’s already promising. Last time kaly stepped on one of her babies (this time she didn’t ) and she didn’t have much milk last time this time all the babies the big and feed. there is two runts that I have to keep a eye on. i will be posting pictures every day like last time and I might even be posting there weights every day if I get the scale working. I think kaly had 2 blues (maybe Vienna), a chin or chestnut Vienna, and two false Charlie somethings.
There is a product that works really well for Scabies. It is called Narural ginesis. You can use it on humans, animals, and any kind of surface. I do not mean to sound like a commercial, but it definitely has hped us.Unfortunately I think I know why lady’s babies are so small. Scabies. It’s a mite that I have been battling for a while. The worst thing is that she might have gotten it from me. she has had scabies before so maybe i didn’t completely get rid of it. And guess what it my birthday. Best birthday present ever (I’m being sarcastic).
The eyes don't look like a normal BEW blue, either. The ears are slightly gray you just can’t see it in the pic.
I think your torts are black torts, not blue. The ear lacing on both looks too dark to be blue.I decided to pose lady’s kits in and compact pose this time. Out of the 4 older buck which one would you keep? There are three more from chilli but they are all rew and I can’t tell them apart lol.
Turns out lady didn’t have scabies but I did give her revolution just in case. There is a product that works really well for Scabies. It is called Narural ginesis. You can use it on humans, animals, and any kind of surface. I do not mean to sound like a commercial, but it definitely has hped us.
the reason I think the torts are blue torts is because when they were younger they had blue ears. I will check about the fawn color. currently I have three bucks that I might keep. First the black vm the reasons being: he is big, is growing fast and is solid mostly. what I don’t like about him is his long fur. Second the opal/squirrel for the same reason as the black but he has short fur which is a plus. Third a Charlie blacks otter rex who I will only keep if Smoke my current rex buck dies (which unfortunately might happen):The eyes don't look like a normal BEW blue, either.

Your VM Opal buck looks more like a chinchilla or possibly a squirrel (blue chinchilla). That bit of rustiness on his nape is pretty common in young chins. If you blow into his fur and see fawn rings under the blue, it's opal; if you see pearly rings instead of fawn, it's chinchilla. Also, his ears look like he may have some harlequinization going on.
Your "weird chestnut" also looks like he's harlequinized.
Since you got tricolors it's not surprising you got some other harlequinized bunnies.
As far as which to keep, it depends on what you're raising them for. The two bucks with manes are awfully cute.
I can see why you'd call that blue, especially the more heavily marked one. I do find that the tort colors darken as they age; in fact some of my tort mini rex got too dark to be shown after a couple of years. But if the bunnies were blue torts, you'd expect the brown to be paler too, more a diluted fawn instead of orange.the reason I think the torts are blue torts is because when they were younger they had blue ears. I will check about the fawn color.
Of those two, I like the opal/chin better. In the photos he seems to have a shorter, deeper body and a more correct peak, although he seems like he might be a little tucked up in his pose so it might be something of an illusion.currently I have three bucks that I might keep.
