So recently my pet doe started a new behavior. I have my own theories of what it means, but I wanted to get some opinions.
When I pet her and scratch her back, she streches and lifts her tail as if she was waiting for a buck to do his thing. After that, when I stop petting her, she goes around me a bit confused like and then gently nips at me, the bed sheets or my clothes until I start petting her again or encourage her to run off.
My theories are as follow:
- she likes the attention a lot and just doesnt want me to stop
- she wants to have some action with a buck since it's been a while (aka she's sortof in heat?) and the way I pet her makes her think something might happen and then she gets confused cause nothing happened (I often have buck smells on me from my other rabbits)
- she's actually a bit annoyed at me but she just submits when I touch her
What do you think?
