Nest boxes

Hey guys!! As some of you may know,I now have 2 "bred" New Zealand whites, ones on the chubby side...maybe around 13 lbs, while the other is a little smaller...They are both proven, and The guy I got them from used those metal nest boxes, well i'd rather not buy any because I work really well with wood and would like to make my own, what do you all suggest I use as dimensions...the floor etc...both my hutches have wood bottoms... for those of you who haven seen my pics ill re-post them....When I had rabbits 5 years ago I had 10 breeding does also on wood floors, and never used a nest box, lol (i know it sounds silly) and cant recall having any odd issues although I do remember the babies being dragged out the nest often, so this time aroiund, since they are already used to nest boxes and I only have a couple I want to do things the right way

They need to fit through the door of the cage and not take up too much room in there. I believe most are 9 x 9 x 12

In your set up you could go larger.

Mine are 12 x 12 x 20 but I hang them over the door. gallery/image_page.php?album_id=191&image_id=1473

I see I like that...my cages are 5 by 2 and 1/2
