What part of Oklahoma are you located in? I live around the Tulsa area and could provide transport back to that area if it is needed.

You shouldn't have any problem with a person with disabilities getting around, the host clubs are pretty strict about keeping the isles clear. Our mom is attending this year and I am going to rent her a scooter so she can see all the sights without getting tired and hurting really bad. She has severe back problems so this is the only way she can even think of going to watch us show.

Also what breed are you looking for? Maybe I can help you make some contacts?

And I agree with SatinsRule, what the heck is up with the new trend of people setting up house at shows????? I've seen people set up awnings, put down rugs, and basically move in. I'm sorry but when you are trying to carry 10 lb rabbits back and forth and keep up with trying to put 15 on the table this is ridiculous! Its gotten so much worse over the years. All I can say is I'm so glad our Pals are teddy bears and don't freak when we tuck one under each arm and start zig zagging, lol.

I hope you get to attend, you will enjoy it so much. And let me know if I can be of any help.

Hi Patty, I really appreciate the offer, but it would take me just about as long to drive to Tulsa as it would to the show in Wichita. I will definitely take you up on the offer, tho, if I purchase something that won't be released until Wed and can't make the drive that day.
I am looking for some English Lops out of really good bloodlines. I'm afraid my showing possibilities are going to be slim to none, so I'm hoping to get some good bloodlines so others who do show will want my bunnies.
I'm envious when I read about others who are going to shows now. The first show around here won't be until Aug 31st. August is usually Oklahoma's hottest month and today it was 109. I'm not planning on attending the August show, simply for the heat reason. The bunnies will be camped out in my bathroom for the next week, as they aren't forecasting anything less than 108 until Saturday.

Yeah, and there is usually a wad of lazy kids in the junior living room whining about wanting some nachos or a coke. They take up so much space with that nonsense, knowing full well that other breeders are having to stack their carriers 3-5 units high as a result of their portable home setup.

Perhaps just as annoying are the breeders who decide to hold their personal conferences and discussions about the best hamburgers or local chain restaurants or retail stores or what age their kids stopped wetting their pants or eating their boogers...in the walkways closest to the judging tables. They see a breeder is trying to bring rabbits to the table, but do they move? NOOOOO! I'm finding that just barging thru their little congregation is pretty effective at getting the point across. The ones who complain about you doing so are relatively dense and oblivious to how obnoxious they're being in the first place. People at some of the local shows hate me for doing it, but the way I see it is if they're going to be inconsiderate, that may be the only way they'll ever get it through their thick heads.
