Thanks for this, I'm making my own nest boxes what dimensions are the ones you're using? I'm basing my dimensions around this from Teal Stone, is it any good?

I'll have to find the measurements sometime today. Those look like good measures. What breed are they for?

Here is a breeder that discusses rabbit nest boxes and materials you can use in them. She shows different commercial boxes and tells their dimensions, as well as benefits and drawbacks of different building materials. She also has a video on making a wooden nest box, although I would want different dimensions than what she mentions as enough for my size rabbits in that video. I used wooden 1'x12's for my box construction.

We got our nestboxes from someone who made them

thats all :]

It makes wooden nests a lot lighter and already has pre-drilled holes in it, too. :) If you use it in wooden boxes you can also attatch it in a way that it can be easily pulled off the box for replacement. The video I linked above uses it in her boxes and mentioned that it is nice. I chose to just use all regular wood because I wanted the insulating value, but making the boxes lighter is tempting at times.
