Snicker's first kindle.
This is my latest litter, now 11 days old. They are 1/2 Flemish Giant, 1/4 New Zealand and 1/4 Harlequin.
Snickers, who I've raised from a baby, had 7 beautiful kits. Her parents were both FG/NZ cross. Mama was sandy and Sire was broken blue.
Bullet, sire to current litter, is chinchilla gray, FG/Harlequin cross. He has thrown magpies, solid black and solid gray.

I am so happy with this litter. Snickers pulled so much hair. It is flowing out of the nest box.
I love the coloring and variety. Babies are quite chubby!
Snickers is cousin to Bella that I just lost, so I am so grateful that she is doing so great.
Only negative, I hate it when my freezer camp bunnies turn out so stinking cute!

Wow your rabbits are gorgeous! The mom and dad and the babies. Plump little things and beautiful colors. Probably would make beautiful pelts too. Congrats!

Thank you. I love a variety of colors, so this litters coloring was a pleasant surprise.

Do you have updated photos of any of this litter? How did they grow? Did the Flemish Giant slow their growth rate at all?
They are 9 weeks old today and I just did their weekly weigh in. They weigh from 4 lb. 4 oz. to 4 lb. 15 oz.
Flemish doesn't generally slow their growth rate, it just not a great meat to bone ratio. Most are freezer bound and will be around 6 pounds at harvest. 12 weeks.
I have pictures of the ones that are not freezer bound.
Clover: an opal/harlequinized buck. (color conclusion by RT color experts)
Sassy: a cute otter doe.

So you did you find a place for Sassy? She is really a sharp-looking rabbit! :)
